Also known as chromed steel, tin-free steel is obtained by coating the base metal (low carbon steel) with an ultra-thin layer of metallic chromium and later with chromium oxide.
The product meets the ASTM A-657 standard. It is manufactured with a low current density process (TFS-III) and is supplied in rolls weighing up to 12 tons.
