35 km northwest of Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, on the banks of the Amistad Dam.
Start of operation:
2008.
The beginning:
Introduction for the breeding of mule deer.
Current population:
180 animals, with the objective of reaching 2000.
Benefits:
Ecological reserve of mule deer and other animal and plant species native to the region. Recovery of flora with sowing of walnuts, maple, cottonwood and ash trees, as well as replanting prickly pear.
Contribution abroad:
Project to replenishing mule deer in suitable areas for its conservation.
